Saturday, September 15, 2007, Coor's National 200 - West Lebanon, NY –   A week delay for rain had little effect on Brett Hearn as he returned to the high banks of Lebanon Valley Speedway on Saturday, September 15 to capture his sixth Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series event of the season in the prestigious 39th Annual Coors National 200.  Hearn inherited the lead on lap 116 when Billy Decker made his mandatory pit stop and staved off every challenge offered by runner-up Eddie Marshall en route to his 97th career Advance Auto Parts Series victory worth $10,000. His sweep of the two Series races at the West Lebanon, N.Y. oval in ’07 increased his track total to 14 at the site of his inaugural tour triumph in 1981. More
Saturday, September 15, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY:  Pepsi Presented a night full of action that included the conclusion to the rain delayed Coors National 200, along with a couple of big payday races for the other divisions.  First up was the $1,000.00 to win CR Concrete Sportsman feature.  With the track temperatures remaining cool, the air was full of heat, as the green flag dropped on the 30 lap Sportsman feature.  Out front the #16 of Kyle Hoffman took the early lead, and the only leader that anyone else would see.  With co cautions to slow the field, the Hoffman Carpentry #16 packed his bags headed to victory lane. Saturday, September 8, 2007 - The winningest driver in Lebanon Valley Speedway history added another trophy to his case on Saturday night as Kenny Tremont captured the 36th Annual ‘Race of Kings’ Mr. DIRTcar 358-Modified Series Championship. “The restarts are so important out here and we were good on all of them tonight,” said Tremont as he climbed atop the roof of his no. 115 S&S Asphalt Spl. in victory lane as thunder clapped in the background and lightning flashed across the sky overhead. “Its always nice to win at the end of the season and this race has a lot of history to live up to.” More
Saturday, September 7, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY - There was plenty of heat to go around Friday night for the opening night of the Coors National Race of Kings Weekend and the Valley of Speed.  The two day spectacular got off to a grand start with plenty of action on the High Banks. The special 30 lap feature for the headliner Sportsman division took to the speedway first.  And right from the start, Don Miller’s #11 took to the top spot from Kevin Petrucci who started on the pole.  By turn two, Miller check out on the field, trying to put as much space between him and the field as possible. Saturday, September 1, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY:  What was looking like a year of being shut out of the winners circle at the Valley of Speed finally came just when he needed the most.  Averill Park, NY’s J.R. Heffner put all the pieces together and coincidentally, on the last night of points for the Big Block Modifieds. Sheldon Oil Services, JH Financial, and Triple Nickel presented the season finale for the Modifieds under clear skies and a cool night.  The points battle came down to just three coming into the season capper.  J.R. Heffner held a slim 1 point lead over Eddie Marshall, with defending point champ Andy Bachetti just 3 points back.  This set up a tension filled event for everyone. More
Saturday, August 25, 2007 - West Lebanon, New York – Sometimes is just better to be lucky than to be good and Saturday night at Lebanon Valley Speedway Altamont NY’s Jeff Trombley enjoyed just a little bit of that luck to capture his second Big Block Modified win of 2007.  The 30 Lap Modified Feature presented by County Concrete set a torrid pace with Modified Rookie contender Ryan Larkin blasting to an almost straightaway lead. Saturday, August 18, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY - A cool late summer night didn’t keep the red hot action from hitting the Valley of Speed this past Saturday night.  Saxton Signs and Harrington’s Lumber packed the night full of wheel to wheel racing that tightened the points battle even more as the season winds down.  The Big Block Modifieds took to the high banks for their 30 lap feature event.  And right off the bat, Mike King took his #55 to the top spot, but wouldn’t enjoy his early lead for long.  Several cautions slowed the field early in the event, allowing the heavy hitters deep in the field to pick off spots a few at a time, while scoring only a few laps on the counter. Saturday, August 4, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY- The Valley of Speed was packed wall to wall with the stars from the Advanced Auto Parts Modified DirtCar Series, along with the regular Saturday Night Big Guns to take on the Budweiser 100. Billy Decker’s #91 set fast time of the night, but that wasn’t enough to get on the front row, as the top 12 re-drew for starting spots after the heats, and the Jersey Jet pulled the lucky number “1”.
Saturday, July 28, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY - Lebanon Valley Speedway squeaked out a full night of racing action as the rains held off.  The fans packed the Valley of Speed not only to enjoy the "Fan Night" festivities, but for the heated racing action on the legendary high banks. GE Plastics and Dig Safely NY presented a full card of action, along with a autograph session with the Valley's big guns.  Kenny Tremont Jr., Eddie Marshall, Keith Flach, and Kevin Arnold, along with a several other drivers signed pictures, t-shirts, hats, and much more for the fans before the night of action began. Saturday, July 21, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY:  A hot summer night of racing was the order of the day at the legendary Valley of Speed this past Saturday night.  Sayer's Auto Wrecking and DeVries Builders Supply even ponied-up a little extra cash for the Pro Stocks to make the night even more interesting. Victor Hopkins and Ed Bishop sat at the front of the field to bring the 20 lap feature to the green.  Bishop's #11 took control of the field early, but the veterans and a couple of young guns were on the move to the front.  On the charge was the #76 of the current point leader Kevin Arnold.  Also the #24 of Robbie Speed and the #324 of Jay Casey were all charging to get a chance at the top spot. Saturday, July 14, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY:  Rifenburg Construction pulled out all the stops at the Valley of Speed this past Saturday night.  That included a first career win, and $1,000.00 to win shoot-out, a parade of big rigs and equipment, and top it all off with a nearly standing-room-only crowd, and that's a recipe for some major dirt track racing. The 30 Lap Rifenburg Construction Modified main event had an added twist of double points, that will come in handy for the fact that 1st through 8th are under 100 points apart.  At the front of the class, it was the #0 of Charlie Humes and the #43 of Keith Flach.  The green flag flew, and it was the #0 out front pacing the field with Flach in tow. Saturday, July 7, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY - The Valley of Speed was all geared up for a Big Block Modified shootout for a big payday.  The weather was perfect for the Freihofer Baking Company and Curtis Hill Modular Homes to present the Royal's Garage and DeVries Building Supply night of racing action.  Of course the highlighted event for the night was once again the big block Modifieds for their 30 lap feature event for an extra cool $3,000.00.  On the front row, it was the #39 of Ryan Larkin, along with the #87X of Paul Gilardi. Saturday, June 30, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY - Lebanon Valley Speedway along with Berkshire Bank presented a full night of action that included all the divisions on the speedway, as well as a gigantic fireworks display that filled the sky.  By the time the racing got under way, a huge crowd had taken over the Valley of Speed for a night of hot action on the track, and of course, the annual pre-4th of July celebration of fireworks.  The Big Block Mods took to the speedway for their Berkshire Bank 30 lap feature event.  On the front row, it was the King Fish, Mike King, and John Alberti that brought the field to the green flag. Saturday, June 23, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY- The heat of summer was in full swing at the Valley of  Speed.  A huge crowd gathered at the high banks of Lebanon Valley Speedway for a full night of action.  Hector Stratton didn't disappoint, as he broke the trend and became the first repeat winner in the Modified for 2007. The Anderson Equipment 30 lap modified feature came to the green flag with the "Kingfish" Mike King at the point.  But as soon as the green flew, the #518 of Kyle Sheldon was collected up and ended up against the outside wall. Saturday, June 16, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY - A special Father's Day night at the Valley of Speed thatincluded the popular Kiddie Rides night presented by Key Bank and FunplexFunpark, saw the return of the 2006 points Champ Andy Bachetti return tovictory lane.  And a struggling Chris Kokosa outlasted the field to capturehis 2nd of 2007. Beautiful summer weather brought out the young and old to enjoy a full night of action packed racing, with the Key Bank Funplex Funpark Big Block Modifieds 30 lap feature taking to the high banks first. Saturday, June 9, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY:  Gorgeous weather brought the fans and drivers out to the Valley of Speed in droves, this past Saturday Night, as Greylock Federal Credit Union presented the night, along with the special PYX106 "Eye Rock 500" race to benefit blind and blind/deaf kids at Camp Abilities. The Waste Management 30 lap Big Blocks Modifieds took to the High Banks with Brian Berger's PLT #60 at the point.  And at the drop of the green, Berger put his PMC out front and began to pull away from the field. Saturday June 2, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY- Alarms of Berkshire County and Wohrle's Foods presented Twin 20 lap feature events for the Big Block Modifieds.  The crowd packed the stands at the Valley of Speed, even under threatening skies.  But once again, Howard Commander's high banks stayed dry, for the most part as the rain made just a brief appearance, only to help the racing surface, and cool the heated fans for all the action on the track. Saturday May 26, 2007 -  West Lebanon, NY:  Earthworm Equipment and Lebanon Springs presented a full program of action packed events this past Saturday night at the legendary High Banks at Lebanon Valley.  A huge Memorial Day Weekend crowd packed the stands to watch an exciting night of racing action in every class.  The Big Block 30 Lap Earthworm Equipment, Lebanon Springs feature event took to the speedway with plenty of action on tap. Saturday, May 19, 2007 - West Lebanon, New York – The Waste Management Presents Little League Night scheduled for May 19th had to be cancelled due to rain.  All classes were scheduled to run along with a 4, 6 & 8 cylinder demo derby.  The demo derby has been rescheduled to be part of The Eve of Destruction Presented by Waste Management & Heavy Hauler on Tuesday night June 19th. Saturday, May 12, 2007 -  West Lebanon, NY:  The stars were all aligned, the moon was in the new phase, and Sagittarius was lined up with Venus; whatever the case, whatever excuse or explanation you want to come up with, great, the bottom line is, it's a win!  Doherty Brothers Construction, and Chatham Printing featured the Royals garage $3,000.00 to win 30 Lap Modified feature event, and it was a dog fight from lap one.  At the point, Dave McFeeters and Tim Dwyer brought the field to the green, and by turn two it was the #1A of Dwyer taking control of the top spot.  The caution flew on lap two for a few cars spinning in turn two; including the #45 of Wayne Jelley, and the #4 of Andy Bachetti.  On the restart, Dwyer once again took the point, but a few rows back, it was "the New Guy" Jeff Trombley aboard his #21J launching out the 6th starting spot taking 2 positions on the first start, and on the lap 2 restart, bolted into the runner-up spot. Saturday May 5, 2007 - West Lebanon, NY: The Valley of Speed was packed in both the stands, and in the action this past Saturday night.  Full cards of events were on tap for night of hot action, including some bizarre finishes, and serious incidents.  With a week off of action due to last week's rain out, the Big Blocks Mods were geared up and ready for action for their Benjamin Moore Paints 30 lap feature event.  At the drop of the green, the #88D of Ronnie Dwyer led the field to turn one.  While the field exited turn two, Paul Gilardi's #87X broke cause the rest of the field to scramble to get out the way.  Several cars were damaged, including the Andy Bachetti, Kenny Tremont, Russ Reckner, and Guy Sheldon.  The only car that had to retire was Gilardi. Saturday April 14, 2007, Hearn Invades to Finally Take Season Opener - West Lebanon, NY - The chilling temperatures weren't enough to keep the Valley fans from their 55th Season Opener, or enough to keep Brett 'the Jet' Hearn from taking his first season opener at the Valley of Speed. There was no doubt that the high banks were going to get the 55th lid lifter underway, and it was just a matter of time that the Jett got to victory lane. More
March 11, 2007 - New Lebanon, NY - Lebanon Valley Speedway celebrated two nights worth of champions and those that were honored for their efforts. With a near record $80,000.00 in point money to be handed out, all eyes were on the champions of each of the 6 different weekly divisions. More
