Valley Locked and Loaded For June and July Big Events

New Lebanon, NY: Lebanon Valley Speedway is ready for "summer"
to start, with a packed schedule full of huge events for drivers and for the
fans. With warm, sunny weather just around the corner, the months of June
and July are jam packed with special events, spectaculars, first time events,
and some big paydays.
Even though we've already begun the month of June, there is still a huge amount
of events yet to come. Starting off with this Saturday's regular program,
presented by Anderson Equipment and Taconic DSL/Pit Stop Automotive will
feature the annual Modified Family Feud. This event will pit teams of
Modifieds against each other for an additional payoff. Also on tap this
Saturday, June 10th the Boomer's Performance PureStock Clash carried over from
last week’s rainout.
June 17th has Dougherty Bros. Construction presenting the night's
program. There is a special DMC Racing Products "Bubba Tanner
Classic" for the Prostocks, with a $500.00 to win 23 lap feature
event. Accompanying that will be another return of the Benjamin Moore
Paints 358 Super Series.
The "Eve of Destruction" returns to the Valley of Speed on Tuesday
June 20th, 2006 for another night of destructive fun and excitement for the
whole family. This year's events, sponsored by Waste Management and Heavy
Haulers, will include a Record Jump Attempt, Mini Van Demo Derby, Jet Car
Meltdown, the crowd favorite School Bus Race, Trailer Race, and much more,
including a 4 Cylinder Race. Gates open at 5:00 pm; events begin at
6:00pm.
Saturday June 24th is all about Fireworks! A huge, full Fireworks display
will be on tap presented by Berkshire Bank and Capital Tractor. CARQUEST
has also added another $3,000.00 to win Modified Special to cap off the night.
The moth of July is also geared up with plenty of action at the High Banks with
the first Saturday, July 1st being Freihofer Baking Company presenting a night
of features. The Benjamin Moore Paints 358 Super Series will also be on
tap for a full night of action. But clear your calendars for 3 HUGE
Events that cannot be missed!
The first HUGE July event is scheduled for Saturday July 8th, with the first
ever Saturday Night Budweiser $6000.00 to win 100 lap Modified Bud
Classic! This special event is the first for the Valley to have a 100 lap
spectacular on a regular Saturday Night schedule! This event is also a
Victoria 200 All Star Qualifier. Tickets are going to be just $14.00
general admission, $15.00 for reserved seating.
The next HUGE event is the annual return of the USHRA Monster Truck Summer
Nationals! This three (3) day event starting Monday July 10th, through
Wednesday July 12th is presented by the great folks from Joe Tornabene's GMC
and CARQUEST Auto Parts. Tickets are going fast; so get your tickets
now! An adult admission is $14.00, with kids JUST $6.00!
The last of the Triple Huge July is the return of the Outlaws! The famed
World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series will make its annual return to the high banks
for more ground pounding, high horsepower dirt slinging! CARQUEST
presents the night of Outlaws for this huge event, along with the Benjamin
Moore Paints 358 Super Series featuring a Syracuse 358 Qualifier! Gates
will open at 4pm, while warm-ups begin at 5pm. All seating will be
reserved for just $24.00.
